Island Reggae, the new album. 60 reggae classics from the likes of Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Aswad, Gregory Issacs and more. The Pioneers are a Jamaican reggae vocal trio. The trio has had different line-ups, and still occasionally performs. Police and Thieves is a reggae song first recorded by the falsetto singer Junior Murvin. It was covered by the punk band The Clash and included on their self-titled debut album. Silly Games is a song written by Dennis Bovell which was first released by Janet Kay. The song was a hit not only in the UK, where it reached number 2 that summer, but throughout Europe. Uptown Top Ranking is a song and single by the Jamaican teenage singers Althea Forrest and Donna Reid, recorded when they were 17 and 18 years old respectively!
