Anuel AA is a controversial Puerto Rican MC whose music blends reggaeton with a heavy trap influence. His uncompromising lyrics heavily detail sex, drugs, and murder, and while his songs are far too vulgar to be played on the radio, he quickly gained hundreds of thousands of followers through online social media. Born Emmanuel Santiago Gazmey, his father, Jose Gazmey, was the vice president of the A&R department of Sony Music Entertainment's Puerto Rican division.
Miguel Martínez, better known popularly by Sweet Flow, was born in Barcelona. From very small it was clear that his vocation was to be a DJ.
His beginnings go back to the 14 years when his parents gave him some plates and a mixer to start moving within this world and that little by little would discover. From that point, the imagination and creativity of the young promise soon became visible and it was when he moved 4 years to Seville, where he began to work in discos revealing his peculiar style.
Arcangel and De La Ghetto duo began when they met in a studio in San Juan, Puerto Rico. After many hits and shows, they decided to break up the duo and pursue their talents as solo artists. They still make songs together on occasion but are no longer a duo.
