Materia sets the tone perfectly with its dark Minimal vibe. The intro blends various percussions that filter up to a steady 4x4 beat filled with a beautifully resonating kick. A big draw on the track is definitely the percussion arrangements which vary from dry and snappy hits to more subtle elements awash with release. The kicks are overlayed with enough bass to keep the low end interesting and gives more space to the midrange. A truly infectious slice that will be a welcome addition in any set.
Deep drone that rises up through the sound beautifully as huge punchy kicks are joined by a selection of sharp percussions and top class FX. The bassline is where it's at here, a solid, driving groove becomes the mainstay of the track and blends perfectly with the rising arps. The arps take on a retro theme with acid undertones filtered in and on the break this is complimented by stunning FX that pop up out of nowhere. A truly hypnotic and driving techno groove that will be a most welcome addition in any set.
