From SNAP to Annie Lennox to George Michael to Bjork, Todd’s mixes bridge the ground between club cool and commercial accessibility. His remix for Everything But The Girl’s Missing became a worldwide smash, giving the British duo their first ever hit.
Mark Brown, founder and CEO of Cr2 Records, has had a hugely successful career spanning 15 years. Be it stadium shows, Top 5 UK hits or tearing up La Terraza at the iconic Space nightclub in Ibiza, the label owner and DJ continues to go from strength to strength. This year sees Mark Brown play the last ever Space closing party having mixed their legendary compilation alongside Giorgio Moroder, Carl Cox, Erick Morillo and Pig & Dan. Coupled with official remixes for T.E.E.D, Avicii and Azari & III receiving widespread acclaim previously and worldwide gigs and a relentless production schedule, the future looks bright for teh former MYNC front man.
Adesse Versions started out as a simple re-edit series, with humble ambitions of self releasing a few white labels. However the project kept growing, with original productions and remixes appearing amongst the edits. Tracks such as Baayi, Pressured and Modall have found favour with icons such as Derrick May, Larry Heard and Gilles Peterson. Major record companies have also taken notice, resulting in a remix of Henry Krinkle for Sony music.
