With countless releases on Relief, Yoshitoshi and of course his own imprint Incorrect Music the Detroit native has some major influence on the US house scene for years. Martin Eyerer & Rainer Weichhold are glad to welcome him on board of their Kling Klong label including a great remx from Florian Kruse.
The Neverdogs simply never fail. The experienced Italian producers are no strangers to Deeperfect and in recent years and through mesmerizing releases they have been able to place themselves as a representing force in the arsenal of Noferinis label. Frontiers is a masterful release combining an incredible selection of vocals, applied in a distant melancholic environment and driven by powerful basslines.
The opener and title track Push paves the way for things to come with stomping, even slightly industrial-oriented bass drums and mechanical grooves, accompanied by gooey, slowly morphing bass synths, a dystopian sci-fi atmosphere and surprise! uplifting vocals and their varied iterations as a hefty contrast to the tunes overwhelming subfrequent waves coming at you from the dark side of the sonic universe.
