We kick off 2020 with a welcome return to John Grand, following up his Avanti debut Deep Fake with the slightly slower, but every bit as energetic follow-up Outlands. A comet is an allegory of the beginning of a new life, which bursts into the atmosphere of the Earth. This light is so needed by the world, in which the action takes place that people perceive the collision with the Earth with grace and joy, without doubt and fear. Bloom treads a similar sonic path to previous outings Indigo and Blur with some extra melodic substance added to the mix.
