Cirees Winter is Coming is emblematic of the Stark family during the harsh winter rush. Interwoven within this audible tapestry are winter-studded melodies, an unrelenting bassline, and a pulsating rhythm. Tom Bro debuts with a vibrant "Aurora" that hovers over the northern perimeters of Winterfell. Atmospheric pads, aural waves of melody, and a vibrant rhythm project this instrumental glow. Skyline Project's "Forgotten Dreams" has a milky texture spread over an audible canvas in which signature plucks give definition. MLDJ debuts with "Memphis," a rockin' progressive grooveliner sauteed with guitar and piano keys.
Mark Digital cranks it up with the almighty "Winterfell." The heights of this fortification are founded upon an elevated bassline, majestic pads, and a soaring atmospheric hook that makes King's Landing pale in comparison. Lepo debuts with "Watermelons," his first original on Soluna. A sweetened coating of progressive charms make this a delicious earful. Edvard Hunger also debuts as "Beyond the North" drives us further from Winterfell into the untamed lands of always winter. Sophisticated, minimal, and melodic, this track puts the listener in the middle of an epic fantasy. Another debuting artist is Mark F with "Archipelago," a grooveliner with a more relaxed atmosphere, synth stabs, and a deeper vibe. The 80's resurgent "Night Bloom," by myni8hte, quickly stimulates the listener with its uncompromising, punchy hook. Its melodic motifs blossom within the breakdown and flourish in the drop. Closing out the album is Asioto's "When Dusk Has Come," the perfect means to a satisfying end. Rock-influenced basslines, acoustic strums and electric guitar chords, piano keys, and soft pads define this organically raw track.
