The latest release from the Plasteline camp comes courtesy of US-based busy producer Samuel Wallner who displays a tenacious grip on sound aesthetics in the two tracks that make up this EP; first up is the title track, a broody piece of downtempo brilliance, phasing slowly into a glistening crescendo of electronic soul.
Producer Hidden Crime takes us on a brief ride into his vibe with new adventurous house tracks. Although Solaris, Iceland, Highlife and China Girl all deliver dreamy dramatic intros they also break into unique deep tech house pieces that are hot.
I Am It, a self empowering track, is arguably the funkiest of the three songs here blending shining arpeggio leads that swim through the mix, with speaker shaking low end and snapping kicks and snares, all of which are a great formula to get people moving.
