Fans of Matteo will instantly recognise his stripped back grooves and attention to detail on this release. The title track, My Sun, pulls no punches. It gets the ball rolling with intricate and precise percussion flourishes which adorn a heavy analogue back-beat. Valencia natives, Los Pastores, have been gaining international notoriety in recent years. Their releases have graced such highly regarded labels as Roush, Viva Music and of course their own Oblack Label.
Alexandros Djkevingr, and Greg Ignatovich are veterans of the Greek underground scene. They both have significant DJ and production histories as individuals, but since stepping into the studio together, they have exploded onto the global scene.
The tune is based around a feel good beat which oozes funk and grooves effortlessly with a deep pulsing sub bass. A catchy vocal hook keeps things locked in while the energy builds throughout.
