This September, Universal Music launch the next batch of budget range titles in the 101 series. 101s careful compiled across 5 discs presenting some of the finest repertoire ever available at this price point. 101 Electronic 80s features the most iconic tracks from the biggest names of the era. Including the likes of The Human League, Tears for Fears & many more!
There is some great music on this good value 5CD set. As well as the usual songs which have appeared on numerous 80s compilations there are a few different and interesting songs / versions included. The main criticism I would have of this compilation is that some artists are repeated too often throughout and sometimes on the same disc, and also to squeeze 101 tracks on the CDs the tracks are sequenced a bit close to each other and faded a bit abruptly in places.
