The collection should also lose a star for the inclusion of tracks that have nothing at all to do with disco, such as The Supremes' Forever Came Today, the totally drab Nature Boy by Central Line, Level 42's uneventful Starchild, and trashy nonsense like Disco Duck, which in its day helped to tarnish disco's good name. Still, there are just about enough goodies here to allow for my generous 5 star rating, including the fact that the tracks run into each other without gaps, and a few are original full length album or 12 inch cuts. No, the content of this box set doesn't honestly reflect its overused 'Disco Classics' title, but at this bargain price and with my handy dud 'skip' button, I can overlook that flaw.
