Its been nearly eight years since Way Out West's Nick Warren and Jody Wisternoff pulled something out of their collective studio, but their magic connectivity is stronger than ever. The English duo has been recording on and off for about 25 years. Expansive, melodic house mixed with elements of techno, breakbeat and trance is its calling card, and today, Way Out West is proud to declare its musical drought more than over.
The pair presents its latest single, Oceans, as the first taste of an 11-track album Tuesday Maybe. Weve had an amazing time working on this new record together, the guys said in a joint emailed statement. Our solo careers have continued to take us around the globe, and it's been a rewarding process being able to come back to the way it all started. The new LP continues to feature both of our eclectic influences, and we were able to tour the music live on the road whilst we wrote it, which has been a truly positive experience and allowed the music to evolve very naturally. Were now at a stage where, collaboratively, we understand each other so well, that our vision for this album was very much aligned from day one. As a result, we have made a record that we feel is some of our best work to date.
