For the summer an excellent project Ibiza Lounge Records gathered a lot of excellent data from the performers, the most different musical direction!
Bossa nova remained unclear for many decades, according to some authors. A lyrical fusion of samba and jazz, bossa nova acquired a large following, initially among young musicians and college students. Nu Jazz is to Jazz what punk or grunge was to Rock, of course. The songs are the focus, not the individual prowess of the musicians. Nu Jazz instrumentation ranges from the traditional to the experimental, the melodies are fresh, and the rhythms new and alive. It makes Jazz fun again.
Melodic instrumental electronica incorporating acoustic sounds with electronic styles emerged under its own umbrella name of downtempo.
