In Germany, Anne Schnell is also well known as a television actress and model. Famous California jazz performer Brenda Boykin worked with Club des Belugas, and Al Jarreau. She won the Bammy award for Best Performer, as the best vocalist at the most prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival.
Track listing on the record for side B is in the wrong order. It's printed on the record that B1 is Pinstripe and B2 is Now Im Livin For Me. Nelly Simon, singer and songwriter and Juergen Kausemann producer and musician (one of the founders of Chinchin records) are behind this project. The title track Shim Sham (tap dance choreography) is a reminiscence of the Savoy Ballroom in New York City. It was a famous hot Spot for Lindy Hop and Swing-dance in the 30ties. The plot of the track deals with an imagination of a love story between Frankie Manning, the founding father of Lindy Hop and one of his dance students. Also on board is the jazz crooner Iain Mackenzie from London.
