Combining bass and grime into one compilation is surprisingly difficult and not many labels are able to pull it off without one side seeming shadowed. The guys at Nothing But however have completed their task with serious finesse, as the likes of Drew's Theory, Aztek, Muhla, NuBass, Mikey B, Tik & Smuggla come together for an A grade project. For us, favourites include the super smooth melodics of 'Burgundy Methods' from Ozwald, SQWD's futuristic bass approach on 'Good Vibes Thick Thighs' and 1Thirty's dubby 4x4 roller which goes by the name 'Roll Out'. A very good selection indeed and a testament to well thought out selection!
