Sideshow is a song recorded by American R&B soul vocal quintet Blue Magic. It was first released on the album Blue Magic and when issued as a single it sold over a million copies.
The genre laid the groundwork for disco by fusing the R&B rhythm sections with the pop vocal tradition, and featuring a slightly more pronounced jazz influence in its melodic structures and arrangements.
Doo-wop is a genre of rhythm and blues music that was developed in African-American communities in the East Coast of the United States. Built upon vocal harmony, doo-wop was one of the most mainstream, pop-oriented styles of the time.
Love Wont Let Me Wait is a hit single by Major Harris, a former member of R&B, soul group The Delfonics. Written by Vinnie Barrett and Bobby Eli, the single is considered to be a staple of classic soul playlists, and was Harris' only entry into the top five on both the soul and pop charts.
