A Hard Road is the third album and second studio album recorded by John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers. It features Peter Green on lead guitar, John McVie on bass, Aynsley Dunbar on drums and John Almond. King Midas in Reverse is a song by British pop group The Hollies written solely by Graham Nash but credited to Clarke, Nash and Hicks for publishing. Living in the Past is a double album quasi-compilation collection by Jethro Tull, which contains album tracks, out-takes. Mellow Yellow is a song written and recorded by Scottish singer-songwriter Donovan. Lamour est bleu English is a song whose music was composed by André Popp, and whose lyrics were written by Pierre Cour.
Kites is a ballad written by Hal Hackady and Lee Pockriss. It was first recorded by the Rooftop Singers as their last single. The song then became a hit for Simon Dupree and the Big Sound, the group of the Shulman brothers who went on to form the progressive rock band Gentle Giant. Their first releases had not been successful and they looked to their manager, John King, for inspiration.
