I Need You, is the second single by the band America from their eponymous debut album America. The song was written by Gerry Beckley. Make It with You is a song written by David Gates and originally recorded by the pop-rock group Bread, of which Gates was a member. Reviewing the album for AllMusic, Stephen Thomas Erlewine wrote, For a very short album only eight songs too many of the cuts fall flat. Those that succeed, however, are quite good, particularly Paul Barrere and Bill Paynes gently propulsive All That You Dream!
"Year of the Cat" is a single by singer-songwriter Al Stewart, released in July. The song is the title track of his album Year of the Cat, and was recorded at Abbey Road Studios, London in January 1976 by engineer Alan Parsons.
