Leonard Charles Williams is an American singer-songwriter and musician, best known for his work during the 1970s. Williams was the lead vocalist for R&B Soul group Tower of Power. Im Blue The Gong-Gong Song is a song written by Ike Turner, produced by Ike & Tina Turner and recorded and released as a single by Ike & Tinas backing trio, The Ikettes. I Can Understand It is a soul classic written and originally recorded by rhythm and blues musician Bobby Womack, who originally recorded the song for his top ten album. The Womack version was done in a more blues style. His brothers, The Valentinos, also recorded the song. Their version was released as a single, and became a chart hit.
