Love on a Two-Way Street is a soul ballad written by Sylvia Robinson and Bert Keyes. The song was originally recorded by Lezli Valentine, an artist signed to All Platinum, the record label that Sylvia Robinson co-owned with her husband, Joe. Heaven and Earth is the studio album by Al Jarreau. It was produced by Narada Michael Walden and Louis Biancaniello. Essentially a collection of R&B songs produced with the artist's jazz and pop sensibilities in mind! Best known for her R&B chart-topper Make Me Yours, Southern soul chanteuse Bettye Swann was born Betty Jean Champion in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Compared to its predecessors, music from the romantic era is more fluid, emotional, personal, secular, and experimental. It was written more for middle-class audiences, and it heavily influenced film music throughout the 20th Century. Schubert, Mendelssohn and Brahms represent the more conservative side of romanticism, and Berlioz, Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Wagner, Chopin, Debussy, and Holst represent the more experimental side.
